My son transferred from out of state to EHS. He has found nothing but kids who treated him kindly and with respect unlike his former high school. I firsthand witnessed his bullying and disrespect at the former school (sad because I graduated from there too) but here there are A LOT of kids and lots of different groups to make anyone feel welcome. I have dealt with the teachers (all helpful and energetic) and administrators (all were nice- my son is not a trouble maker though) and support staff. ALL of them treated me as a parent with respect and my son is held to be responsible which is how high school should be! He is happy there from day one and I have promised to not move him--he wants to graduate a WildCat! If you are moving I HIGHLY recommend the Rockwood School district and EHS is a great school!
I absolutely loved going to Eureka High School! Great teachers and positive learning environment. Definitely prepares students for college and life. So thankful that I am able to call myself a Wildcat!
I couldn’t think of a more hostile environment for young teens to be brought up in. Every single faculty member makes me feel like a criminal for just going to school. None of the principles show respect to the students but they demand to be upheld like gods. It’s all just a bunch of power hungry nobodies who take their minimal powers to the extreme on defenses children.
You don’t learn at this school you memorize things. Lessons are boring and you never get to do any that gets students excited. Some teachers are the best but majority of them suck and the administrators act like gods. School is disgusting and dirty. Lunch is too expensive for what you get and the lunchs suck. This is the worst place to send teens and it’s like a jail. They don’t let you do anything fun. All they do is train students to all be the same. John Deavers is a very rude teacher and has a smart mouth that he thinks is funny.
Couldn't be more proud of the faculty, curriculum, and facility. Love the small town feel!
